The best brush!
I have had an Aveda paddle brush that lasted 14years and iv just had to replace. I tried a few different ones but trust me when I say this is the best brush for longer hair! Excellent

Good paddle brush
I have thick, curly hair and the Aveda paddle brush does a good job of getting through it when I'm straightening my hair. I don't know that it's significantly better than other, similar paddle brushes, but it does look lovely, so I like being able to leave it out in the bathroom.

Detangling perfection
Hair finally feels fully detangled and manageable after only a few minutes with this (after months of struggle and hair breakage using the wrong brushes). At first I thought there was a tooth missing but I googled it and found out that is a deliberate design to drain water from the brush if it gets wet! Just a heads up.
