This is the best curl comb I have used , I have extremely natural curly hair but once brushed with a regular brush it just goes really frizzy . Definitely not for use as a detangler on wet hair that hasn't been pre-combed through with a normal wide-tooth comb. On dry hair that is wavy, it does a slightly less frizz- inducing comb through, but you still need to be careful. Wouldn't recommend.
