Don’t leave too long
I tried this in an evening and washed off the same night and it worked well. The next time I used it I followed the instructions and left on for the night and washed off first thing in the am and it burned my scalp, leaving it shiny, red and raw. Use with caution!!! Does nothing a decent clarifying shampoo can do
